He Got A Puppy. It Was Strange. Was It Innocent Or Nah?

Something so innocent can have darker implications.

Nixon, a mechanic who recently fixed my car, had just gotten a new pit bull puppy that he kept alongside his shop. Mind you, the puppy wasn’t there a few days ago when I’d dropped off my car. But when I returned to pick up my vehicle, apparently he’d gotten this freakishly, beautiful, new edition to his auto shop family.

To give some basic context, Nixon, an older Black man, appeared to be interested in me beyond a professional relationship. I could tell this by his demeanor, how he looked at me and the fact that he had discounted my mechanical services. I was grateful and thanked him for his “kindness”, although I didn’t ask for or expect any special treatment. Favors in exchange for more of my time, energy and the possibility of sliding in my pussy is what men call kindness, right?

Anyways, because I approached the shop from the other side of where Seven was kept, I didn’t automatically see her (the puppy). As I made my way into Nixon’s office to pay for my services, I stumbled over the doggie bed because it was right in the way on the other side of his office door. Upon seeing the bed, I exclaimed “Awww you have a dog!?”. If you knew me in person, you’d know I get very excited about animals. Simply thinking of our enchanting furry companions is enough to induce ecstasy! His response, “Yeah, just got a puppy. Why, you wanna walk her? Come on, I’ll show you the puppy you’ll be walking”, he said jokingly.

Guys, when I tell you this dog bed was horrendous!… It was clearly worn and old as hell for a brand-new puppy. Along with the couple of toys lying on the bed- they too were old and dirty for no clear reason. Suspicious? Yes. It didn’t hit me until a bit later that something wasn’t adding up.

After finishing our transaction, I followed him around to the other side of the shop where he kept Seven. My heart instantly melted, as it does for puppies, kittens and small children. I played with Seven for a moment or so, asking basic questions about the breed and age. Then I asked why he decided to get a puppy. “No idea” Nixon replied. Again, I found that odd. While still petting Seven, I jokingly mentioned that this is a good way to lure customers…
